Both the Man of Tai Chi weibo site and Mtime have released stills of actress Ye Qing from Man of Tai Chi. In the film she plays a white-collar worker who attracts the attention of Chen Hu (love interest). She helps him choose the right path in his battle betwee light and the darkness represented by Keanu Reeves.
With respect to her role, Ye Qing said, “She very much wanted to pkay a competent role, but not one of office staff because she does not have any experience as an office worker to draw on.” It is also reported that Keanu Reeves chose a wardrobe that contains a wide range of bright colors that will reflect her warm heart.
