During an interview with Liam Crowley from Screen Rant for his latest film, director Justin Lin gave the following update on the BRZRKR project:
The director assured that he, Reeves and Tomlin “have been working together” to hone in on the final vision for the film, finding himself “very fortunate to be invited” to be a part of “Keanu’s creation“.
Lin went on to describe his experience getting to know Reeves as being unlike anything he’s had before, given he’s “coming in and joining someone on a journey that is their creation“. The filmmaker went on to assure the goal is to “honor [the comic] in its spirit“ as he tries to determine the best path to “bring it to live-action“.
