Man of Tai Chi was originally released by AMC affiliated theaters and opened on 110 screens. Market Street Cinema in Little Rock Arkansas has tweeted that the film is playing there. Their site indicates that it is opening there today and will run through November 14.
This is the first indication that local independent theaters in the US are picking the film up. For those interested in seeing the film on the big screen it is worth checking your local theaters that are not part of chains.
