Indie Wire reports that Metrograph will be screening the new 4K restoration of Point Break on Sunday, February 11th, Tuesday, February 13th, and Thursday, February 15th as part of it’s ‘Beach Bodied’ series.
But the “Point Break” restoration is a great example of what can go right: it has consistently richer color than the previous HD Blu-ray release without messing with Bigelow’s intended look for the film or making it feel too smooth.
