The Deadline Hollywood is reporting that Rachel McAdams has replaced Reese Witherspoon in Passengers. Witherspoon was forced to drop out due to a scheduling problem. They are also reporting that the film will now be shot in Germany instead of the previously announced Montreal.
When the Weinstein Company bought distribution rights for the film at the Cannes FIlm Festival, they were anticipating a wide release in 2014.
