Yesterday after buying a Harley Davidson (It’snot clear if he actually bought it or rented it). He returned to the Sofitel hotel with the bike.
At noon, Keanu visited the Bouza winery as a result of tasting the Single Tannat wine from the vineyard. The Juan Borda, manager of the Bouza winery, told the Montevideo Portal that Keanu had come to know about the winery through three different links. After testing the Single Vineyard wine at the Garcia restaurant in Carrasco, The winery was mentioned again at the stud farm in Jose Ignacio and at the Footprint restaurant.
“Finally yesterday, he arrive on the motorcycle with his assistant,” said Borda who said that Reeves was a ‘super simple and humble” type. They toured the place for over three hours and also took the time to tour the motorcycle handle museum that the winery has. For Reeves, the old bike handle musuem was an adventure.
THe actor is a wine connoisseur and questioned the host about it and also bought a few bottles, several of which he will give to Carl Rinsch for his wedding and some for his friends. After having a Uruguayan beef lunch at Bouza, he purchased Monte Video Eu wines, a chardonnay and a double magnum bottle.
During the tour, Bouza sought to preserve Keanu’s privacy from other visitors. However, guards were not necessary and the actor greeted and took photos with everyone who recognized him.
