Variety is reporting in news from the European Film Market that Antti Jokinen will be directing Helena. Later in the article the conversation shifted to The Criminal. According to Jokinen, Keanu Reeves has read the script but hasn’t signed on yet.
No complaints here if Keanu signs on to the project. It will be another opportunity to see him on the big screen. However, from where I sit it looks like they keep dropping his name to bring attention to the project.
