The Wrap has just posted that Passengers is heading to Focus Features according to an individual familiar with the situation.
While both a representative for Focus and and producer Ben Browning have declined to comment an individual with knowledge of the project said that Focus Features is close to signing a deal to handle domestic distribution of the film.
The script is currently out to several prominent actresses and the backers appear confident that they will have a replacement for McAdams soon.
