A custom made Matrix bass that was autographed by Jackson was autographed by Keanu Reeves and is up for auction on ebay. There are seven photos with the ebay ad. It seems plausible that the guitar was made to commmemorate the 15th aniversary of the release of The Matrix. Whether Keanu was aware that the guitar would be auction after he signed it remains to be seen. There is no info with the ad that indicates the money will go to a good cause other than the seller’s pocket.
The photos appear recent as the Reevester is in his favorite backwards black cap.There are authorized custom dealers in both Los Angeles and NYC so the guitar could have been signed anywhere.
