I recall seeing a HQ of the very first John Wick stills that wasn’t watermarked on one of the articles titled ‘First Look at Keanu Reeves as John Wick‘. I googled it to bring up the list of articles to hunt for the photos. It is here and it is huge.
One of the other things that popped up in that search was a reddit thread by the same name. While glancing through the comments, there were some comments by SetYourGoals who said he worked on the film. You can go directly to SetYourGoals comment page and read what he has to say. When you get there and scroll down about a third of the page. You will have the opportunity to click on his comment and go to the original thread if you want to read the whole sequence.
