– France 3 Rhones-Alpes has posted a piece on Pedro Almodovar and ‘The Release of the Lumiere Factory’, which is considered to be the first film in the history of cinema. It was directed by Louis Lumiere and immortalized the workers in the family factory. To celebrate this year’s Festival Lumiere, Pedro Almodovar reshot the film with his dream cast of Rossy de Palma, Marisa Paredes, Keanu Reeves, Tony Gatlif, Bérénice Béjo… etc..
