The photo appears to have been taken at Wang Chen’s Table Tennis Club on the Upper West Side in NYC. According to a post at NYC Official Guide:
The narrow hallway leading to its register is lined with photos of Wang with Keanu Reeves, John McEnroe and other distinguished guests.
In a comment on Yelp’s review site of Wang Chen’s Table Tennis Club, a reviewer said the following:
Before we went downstairs, we noticed that KEANU REEVES PLAYS HERE. Yes that is right!!!! He was here for 5 days straight in January!! The guy said that he’s not that good, but wow was I excited……… oh yeah, John McEnroe plays here too…
Note: The reviewer had previously lived in NYC and moved to SanFrancisco. On a trip back to NYC in 2007, she visited Wang Chen’s establishment. From the way she recounts the story and the verb tenses she uses, I am left with the impression that Keanu was there in January of 2007 but I can not verify that.
