Note: While it was 87eleven Action that tweeted that John Wick was back, it is not clear if the weapons training is for Wick 2 or Replicas which is officially in pre-production (see post here). Not much is known about the Replicas other than what appeared in the press release:
After a car accident kills his loving family, a daring neuroscientist (Reeves) will stop at nothing to bring them back, even if it means pitting himself against a government-controlled laboratory, a police task force, and the physical laws of science themselves.
From the description, it is conceivable that he will use a weapon in the film. Wick 2 has a script but is not listed as being in pre-production. Based on how past films unfolded once pre-production has started, Replicas appears to be the more likely choice. (Thanks to one of my readers for putting a bee in my bonnet.)
