John Wick 2, also known as Spear, was listed in this week’s issue of Production Weekly. Training is continuing and it appears that the script is done.
The press announcement for the John Wick virtual reality game a few weeks ago said that Liongate was planning a September 2016 release for John Wick 2. Assuming the information was correct, filming needs to commence soon for the film to be completed by that date. John Wick filmed in October though December 2013 and post-production was finished in time for the film to screen at Fantastic Fest at the end of September 2014. I’ll update if I find anything else.
