Many thanks to @JohnLeguizamo who has tweeted that John Wick 2 is coming out in October.
Note: There are many hurdles to cross before release of the film but it looks like they are aiming for an October release. That being said, action adventure, Gambit with Channing Tatum, is slated for releasse on October 7 and Jack Reacher: Never Go Back is set for an October 21 release.
