Many thanks to Zeeshan Ameem Imtiazi who shared a group photo with Keanu on FB. The photo was posted on August 13. the comment said it was taken on a break in the Interserve team office.
Many thanks to Interserve who shared a better copy of the same photo on FB and to @keanulatino for tweeting the link. This photo was posted on October 14 along with the backstory to the photo below:
Keanu Reeves took time out from Hollywood to play his latest starring role in an Interserve strategy planning meeting!
The A-list actor called into the meeting at the Priest House Hotel in Castle Donnington after he was spotted by excited employees – who at first thought he was just a lookalike.
Together with his entourage, Keanu was having lunch at the hotel.
Kim Pattison, head of communications for Interserve’s learning and employment business, said:
“He was very polite and took his baseball cap off as he shook our hands. I decided to go in for a kiss, so I asked if he minded and then he offered both cheeks!”
She continued: “He asked us what we did and our managing director Chris Peel was soon delivering the pitch – and he listened! He was only with us a matter of minutes, but to say he must be asked to chat to people and have his photograph taken all the time, he didn’t seem the least bit reluctant.”
Note: While the photo first appeared in August, Keanu was in Puerto Rico at that time. The Priest House Hotel in Castle Donnington is in the UK and is close to Goodwood. The photo was most like taken sometime during Keanu’s visti to the Goodwood FOS at the end of June.
Update: Thanks to Angel who went back to verify that Keanu was at the Norton Factory in Donnington and had lunch afterwards at The Priest House Hotel via The Leicester Mercury. The article ran on June 24 so they most likely toured the Norton factory on June 23.
Update X2: Many thanks to one of my readers who sent in the following information and photos . The photo with Keanu circled in red is originally from August issue of Focus Inter Serve which is a magazine for the NHS (national Health Service) in the UK.
