Mike Fleming from Deadline is reporting that Generation Um, written and directed by Mark L. Mann and starring Keanu Reeves, has picked up a distributor. Phase 4 Films has acquired all U.S. and Canadian distribution rights for the film. They are planning a theatrical release for Generation Um in spring 2013.
In addition, Variety reports that the deal was brokered by Larry Greenberg and Sam Posner of Phase 4 Films with Cassian Alwes for the filmmakers, Paul Krell from Company FIlms, and Jenn Lee from Voltage Picutres.
It looks Keanu Reeves will have a busy spring/summer in 2013. He has also said in an interview that he hoped to release Man of Tai Chi in spring or summer of 2013.
