Remember how in March, we had a casting a movie with Keanu Reeves? Many came to try out for the movie and I’m happy to say that some of the lucky ones get parts and not only! Probably more than all the lucky Vladimir Shklyaru. At our request, he shared his impressions: ” I’ve been to three castings. Then I got a call from one of the directors and offered to tutor Keanu-rehearse his Russian scenes. He’s a very nice and simple man without posing, fun and easygoing. Besides very diligent. The role of took very seriously. Wants to be the most natural and speak in Russian on 100 %. He had easy. I did get a chance to see him in training for the role. He’s not just repeating or Russians learned phrases – he played. I can tell you about myself that I’m very lucky to meet a famous actor and a good man. When I was a kid watching his movies, I couldn’t imagine that once will participate in his work. And that’s not all! A week ago I was offered a role in this movie. Role without words, but I am pleased to be able to get into a Hollywood movie scale. Soon Keanu leaves at art. Petersburg to complete the filming of the movie. I’m at the end of may, flying to Los Angeles for a few days and we agreed to meet with Keanu and go there for lunch.”
Good luck to Vladimir on set and a good trip! And thanks so much for the pictures.
