Last summer I had one of the most memorable and exciting experiences of my life. With only being experienced on theater, I had the opportunity to work as a stand-in in Hollywood movie “Replicas”. I learned so much about the technical aspects of creating a movie, witnessed the actors’ patience and determination when they repeated the same scene 10 times, got to rehearse with the actors when Emily Alyn Lind (the actress for whom I did stand-in) was unable to assist, and met a lot of extraordinary people. It amazed me how everybody on a set, going from extras, stand-ins & set dressers to producers, actors & directors is extremely necessary in order to create an efficient film. Each person has a purpose, even though actors are thought to be the main representation of a film. Team work is what truly makes a movie happen! Oh and the excessive amount of free food also made our jelly-bellies happen (except for @aliceeve)
