James Mottram interviewed Keanu Reeves about his documentary, Side by Side at The Berlinale.
Mr. Reeves, who is usually guarded during interviews, was very talkative with Mr. Mottram. During the course of the interview, we learned the back story on how Side by Side came about, heard Mr. Revees thoughts on some of the directors he talked with, his views on actors and how they are impacted by digital film, and how he now views The Matrix with it’s revolutionary digital effects. In addition, he talked about his mid-life crisis and weighs in on the new Bill and Ted 3 script saying that “it is really good”.
