Dogstar put on a great show. Dreams of seeing Keanu live is completed. We met a girl that came by herself from Texas to see the show, that is commitment! The drummer was impressive, drumming and playing harmonica at the same time, get out!!

So fortunate to have had the opportunity to cover this show and to meet some new friends in the crowd.
I want to note a couple things about the show that were rather surprising. First, Dogstar specifically chose not to use security barricades which allowed the fans to get right up to the stage at The Fox Theatre. This makes it so much more intimate and warm, especially for those in the front. Second, I wasn’t asked to sign a restrictive photo contract like some bands require. This was so indicative of Dogstar’s, (especially Keanu’s), reputation for being so down-to-earth. Third, Dogstar limited the number of photogs that were allowed, which gives the fans a much better experience, especially in the absence of a photo pit. There were a few photogs that far surpass my skill and abilities, who I admire greatly, that did not receive approval. Honestly, I didn’t feel worthy of getting that approval over some of them.
So honored to be involved with such a unique show…and I thought the show was great! This was my first show back after a gruesome surgery in July and my body wasn’t able to make it through the entire night. I ended up nearly leaving in tears from pain, but for what I was able to, I thought it was great to see so many fans show up for a glimpse into the project of such great human beings!
