Deadline is reporting that Joel Edgerton has joined the cast of The Entertainment System Is Down.
Near the end of the article they quote Ruben Östlund as saying he will be back at Cannes in 2026 when he will debut the film.
The production is loading cast at a pace that is normally seen in productions whose shoot start is imminent. Considering they don’t plan to debut the film until Cannes 2026, this seems odd.
