Deadline has reported that Lionsgate has greenlit the animated John Wick prequel and Keanu Reeves has signed on reprise his role, presumably doing the voice overs.
Shannon Tindle is directing and Ryan & Kaz Firpo is writing the project. Basil Iwanyk, Erica Lee, Chad Stahelski, Keanu Reeves and Point Grey are producing.
The film will tell the story of the impossible task he completed to free himself from the High Table.
