For those following Side by Side, James Thompson has posted his review of the documentary on Filmoria. With respect to Keanu Reeves, he had the following to say:
… but his approach and enthusiasm throughout Side By Side is a breath of fresh air and an absolute delight to watch. The actor shows such knowledge and enjoyment in his role as interviewer that it echoes through the responses of the key figures under question and provides some fascinating results, ranging from opinions on the digital age, memories of the older days of film and views on 3D.
On the film itself Thompson said:
Essentially, Side By Side is possibly one of the most important and relevant documentaries of recent times and finally gives us an insight into those individuals in the thick of it. An unmissable documentary.
