Keanu Reeves month continues at Sound on Sight. Shane Ramierz has an interesting post up looking at the action heros that Keanu has played.
Ramierz points out that Keanu seems to not have any age or ethnicity restraints as he easily takes on the physical appearance of any action hero that he is playing. In Point Break his Johnny Utah, who is ruggedly handsome, is defined by his sensuality. His Jack Traven in Speed, while clearly physically fit, dresses casually which down plays it. He clearly thinks before acting and comes across as the classic hero. His portrayal of Neo in The Matrix brought us the supehero characterized by the faceless, formless man who is defined by special effects.
