Thanks Mark Mann!
Jeff Rivera has an interesting piece up at the Examiner focusing on Keanu Reeves and his role in generation Um…. The piece starts out talking about the film and Keanu’s character’s role in it. From there the author moves on to the Q&A session that took place following the premiere.
During the Q&A, the cast and director offered additional details on their character. Additionally, Keanu Reeves, Bojana Novakovic and Adelaide Clemens talked about their experiences filming together and some of the moments they shared on the set. With respect to Keanu, the author wrote:
Reeves especially seemed to be enjoying the Q&A session that followed the film’s screening, joking about reciting sonnets on set and even pulling his pants down during filming in order to make the cast more comfortable with one another. There were jokes about an infamous New York bonding trip the cast took together, on which even a joking Reeves solemnly refused to divulge the details of.
Rivera finished the piece saying:
“Generation Um” offers a glimpse at another side of Keanu Reeves as an acting talent, and certainly promises further great things from him in the future. But in the meantime, as it always is with those otherwise seemingly tough-guy actions stars, it’s nice to see them have the opportunity to cut loose and have a little fun.
The was a good read and can be found here.
