Interesting tweet this morning from Sable Films. They have just signed on to executive produce Keanu Reeves’ company’s slate of five films. Said films have A list cast and crew and appear to be with Lallaps Pictures. It is not clear what this means and there was no additional information at either of the mentioned websites.
Thought I’d put it out there so others could keep their eyes and ears peeled.
Note: Keanu signed that deal with Fundalmental on behalf of Company Films to develop an undisclosed number of films at the Beijing Film Festival. It is not clear if this tweet refers to this or other projects.
Update: Sable Films has responded to my tweet and it looks like they are involved with projects that are not part of the China deal. It sounds like there are five more projects on the horizon. @SableFilms said he was one of the hottest stars around and to not be surprised by multiple offers.
