Many thanks to @ianjeffrey who has tweeted that the TV series Rain starring Keanu Reeves is shooting at Paletta Mansion which is in Burlington, Ontario. The exchange is below.
Note: I have not been able to confirm the info. Considering there was a location scouting trip to Japan earlier this year, the mansion and the area near it is an interesting choice. Last I heard there wasn’t a script yet. During the location scouting trips to Buffalo in August/early September for Henry’s Crime, they took interior shots of the bank and exterior shots near the bank according to reports on the ground. It is not clear if the actual filming of the Rain pilot has started or if they are filming test shots at this location in preparation for eventual filming of the pilot. Right now, this is the only report that indicates that something is going on with Rain. I’ll update if I see anything else.
