The Production List has updated their listing for The Entertainment System is Down. They are showing that the film will begin shooting in Paris France on January 6, 2025.
The Cinemaholic is reporting that the film will begin shooting in Paris, France on January 25, 2025. This outlet falls under the auspices of Gomsy Media LLC. which is located in Raleigh, NC.
On September 27, Screen Daily announced that The Entertainment System Is Down would receive €500,000 in production support from Berlin-Brandenburg’s regional film fund.
Shortly after the film was first announced, articles appeared suggesting filming would begin early in 2025. Whether filming begins on January 6 or 25, 2025, it is in the announced window of early 2025.
The funding provided by Berlin-Brandenburg’s regional film fund would indicate that some part of the production will be in Germany. In view of the two projected start dates for Paris France, it would appear that there may be multiple locationf for this film shoot.
