Speed will celebrate the 20th anniversary of its release on June 10, 2014. Jonathan Doyle has compiled a list of 20 things that you didn’t know about Speed for The Loop. You can take a look at the list here. There are a few on the list I wasn’t aware of so there may be some that you didn’t know either.
The film was nominated for three Oscars and won two of them, one for Best Sound and the other for Best Effects Editing. In addition to the Oscars, Speed was also nominated for three BAFTAs and won two for Best Editing and Best Sound.
