Steve ‘Frosty’ Weintraub from Collider is on the ground at CinemaCon. He attended the Universal session and reports that the delay in the release date of 47 Ronin makes sense after hearing the director, Carl Rinsch, speak and viewing some of the raw dailies and VFX shots.
He reports that what he saw looked fantastic. He closes with:
47 Ronin looks like it belongs in the heart of summer and not in February. If it’s good, it’s going to be a huge release in the middle of winter.
