Many thanks to juliustarog who shared his photo on webstagram. Chad Stahelski is with Keanu so this definitely appears to be a trip that is related to the TV series Rain. It is not clear where the show will be filmed. They are either scouting locations for filming or doing research for the show.

This article posted on Yahoo!Japan seems to indicate that the visit is for Rain. It is in Japanese so you will needt he google tanslator.
