Dana Gablinger interviewed Keanu Reeves for Blick! The interview is in German and translates well. She covered old ground such as asked about playing the outsider Kai, turning 50 and being considered sexiest man alive and his answers were similiar to t˙ose he has given before. Here are the highlights of the new ground she covered:
- She asked why he lived a reclusive life in LA and stayed away from Hollywood parties. Keanu said, “You know, I don’t particularly like the hype about me. The small talk and pack of photographers, that’s not for me.My friends are just normal people and not stars.”
- He was asked how he switches off. Keanu said, ” I havve been riding motorcycles or drink a scotch. But I do not do both together. When I sit pn my bike and ride off into the sunset, then a feeling of infinite freedom comes over e. I drive along Sunset Blvd. or through the winding hills of Santa Monica. In these moments, I relax. My love for these machines was so great †hat I’ve created a custom motorcycle company.”
- He was asked what is the most wide spread rumor about him. Keanu said,”Everybody thinks I’m gay. I’m not talking much about my private life . It does not interest me what people think or say about me.I have not googled myself, nor have I looked up what it says on Wikipedia about me.”
- He was asked what he will give himself for this year. Keanu said, “In any case, more relaxation and tranquility. This is also what I wish in my heart for my close friends.”
