The China Film Group has posted a photo and link for a new post on infzm. If you recall, infzm are the folks that brought us the Southern Weekend photo shoot and interview that we covered on June 27.The piece is in Chinese and you can get the gist of it with the google translator.
This particular piece focuses on Tiger. It talks about his background (training as a child, coming to the states, working in a restaurant to support himself, competitions, working on films, etc.) and his initial attempts with the script and bringing it to Keanu. With respect to Keanu it talks about his post production work on Henry’s Crime and how that lead to Side by SIde. They then talk about Side by Side, shooting MOTC with a digital camera and distribution of MOTC . At the very end of the piece, Keanu talks about the problems and restrictions of filming in China. As it turns out, he couldn’t film the police parts in Beijing and had to do it in Hong Kong.
