Keanu surfaced in Beijing in November of 2011 to actively prep for the upcoming Man of Tai Chi shoot that began on February 28, 2012 in Beijing. The film was originally slated to be filmed in Beijing, Hong Kong and Macau although the Macau location was ultimately dropped.
Open End Island has posted two photos of Keanu at the Hong Kong airport as he was heading to Macau most likely to scout for locations. In one of the photos you can see that producer Lemore Syvan was with him. The photos are dark so I lightened them for better viewing.
I also found a photo from weibo in my files that was dated November 22, 2011. I normally name my files by date and location and this one was labeled Macau and it appears to have been taken at the The Venetian Macao. From the photo it clearly looks like it is film project related.
