Nancy Tartaglione has posted for Deadline that John Wick brought in $2.1 million from 40 territories over the weekend bringing its foreign BO total to $17.1 million.
Box Office Mojo is reporting the actuals for the weekend as $2,224,552 for a domestic BO of $38,917,094.
John Wick has made $56,017,094 world wide. That’s 2.8 times its budget. This week the film will be opening in the Netherlands and next week it will start its run in Brazil and New Zealand.
Note: The foreign BO numbers are estimates and the actuals may be slightly higher or lower. I calculated the current world wide numbers using the foreign total provided by Deadline. I’ll update the side widget when the actuals are available for the foreign BO.
