Note: At the end both critics gave the film 3 stars and said if you had to choose between seeing 47 Ronin and The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug, 47 Ronin is the better choice!
The Huffington Post has posted the podicast from Cinfantastique. Critics Steve Biodrowski and Dan Persons spend their show discussing 47 Ronin. They readily admit that on an earlier show they thought it would not be good based on press. Now that they have seen it, the say it exceeded their expectations and was a good film. It is a decent listen and they also talk about how Universal’s marketing team botched the roll out.
