The Hollywood Reporter has posted that Derek Kolstad will pen the John Wick 3 script. They also report the following:
- John Wick: Chapter 3 has been fast-tracked to start production this fall.
- Chad Stahelski is working with Kolstad and developing the project with an eye to directing it.
Note: If John Wick 3 begins with getting John out of Manhattan then filming may begin in October to maintain the seasonal continuity of the NYC backdrop that was seen in John Wick: Chapter 2.
