With $3.4m yesterday, the Keanu Reeves samurai film has earned $14.1m since debuting with $7.1m on Christmas day and should end the frame with $21m. On one hand, that’s a terrible number for a $175m picture. On the other hand, it just shows that Keanu Reeves has genuine drawing power, as he pulled off a $20m debut for a film that had absolutely nothing going for it.
