I was Chief of Detectives, and standing right outside the office, petting the chocolate colored spaniel that Keanu had stolen from a pet shop. I wore a holster, and a service revolver, badge on my suit coat – the whole look. We filmed one entire afternoon at the old Hamm Brewing Co. office bldg. at Payne & Minnehaha. About 23 takes in all. Lots of fun. Lunch with these three gentlemen too. My petting the dog part got left on the cutting room floor, but I am still a reflection in the window!! The movie sucked, but the actors were all great, and lots of fun to hang with. Three months on Goodrich, around the corner from me, and we became fast friends. Keanu and Dan both love history, and Dan really loves architecture. Both had a lot in common living in Canada. The whole thing was lots of fun, and I think about those days from time to time. – JS
