It’s not clear what is going on with Generation Um these days. The data bases have it listed as ‘in post-production’. However, Voltage Pictures has it listed as completed on its site. Mr. Reeves said it was having trouble finding distribution during one of his talks at the Berlinale. Hopefully, this film will pick up a distributor or at the very least go straight to DVD.
Whatever the case may be, an illustrator has reported on one of the props used in the film. She was approached by the Production Designer, Diem Hoang, for permission to use one of her illustrations, Bonjour Said the Prince, in a wine label. Photos of the wine label can be seen here.
