Hearldonline is reporting that Village Roadshow Picutes Asia’s debut films have broken box office records in China. Village Roadshow Pictures Asia also co financed Man of Tai Chi with Universal and will also be involved in distribution Keanu Reeves’ directorial debut. Both companies partnered with China Film Group and Wanda Media Group on the project as a means to corner a piece of the China market. From this piece, it looks like this is a strategy that will pay off.
