Hong Kong Sets Sights on Becoming the New Hollywood

Keanu Reeves moved filming of his directorial debut, Man of Tai Chi to Hong Kong this week after finishing the first phase of the shoot in Beijing. He personally scouted out his film locations in Wan Chai and the Clear Water Bay beach area the week before.

The film industry in Hong Kong is actively cooperating with both the Chinese and the American film industries. As a result, the Hong Kong film industry is booming and will host it’s biggest American production to date, Iron Man 3, which begins filming later this year.
