Keanu Reeves Gives a Distinctive Performance in generation Um

The Indiewirehas just posted their review of generation Um which was released on VOD today.

The review gives more details about the film for those who have had trouble wrapping their heads around it. If you are an indie film fan, this one may be right up your alley.

Eric Kohn notes that “the movie belongs more to Reeves than anyone else.” When all is said and done he says that:

…but even when it doesn’t work, “Generation Um…” stands out for multiple levels of strange, random inspiration. Though ultimately unsuccessful, it valiantly reaches for a funky, wild critique of hedonistic sluggards wandering through society with no clear direction. But more than anything else, it delivers Keanu in his element.
