Beyond Hollywood is reporting that the short story that Johnny Mnemonic is based on has been optioned for a TV series. Seven Arts Entertainment and Prodigy Pictures (Lost Girl and XIII) are actively working on bringing the show to TV.
The 1995 film, which starred Keanu Reeves, Dina Meyer, rapper ice-T, Takeshi Kitano, Denis Akiyama, Dolph Lundgren, and Henry Rollins, was directed by Robert Longo.
