ADWEEK is reporting that Keanu will star in a 30 sec Squarespace ad to air during the Super Bowl on February 4, 2018. David Lee, Squarespace chief creative officer, said the following:
“We strive to make our advertising as genuine as possible, so we always keep an eye out for the most interesting people on our platform to see what brave new ventures they are launching out into the world. In addition to being a customer, we felt Keanu’s persona was a perfect fit for this creative—he’s a bit mysterious, but also regarded widely as a good person. After meeting with Keanu and learning more about his company and his vision, we knew we couldn’t work with anyone else.”
The article also said that Keanu will star in an ongoing Squarespace ad campaign in addition to the Super Bowl ad. The photo that was posted with the article looks like it may have been taken during the Saddleback Butte State Park shoot that took place around December 12, 2017.
