We know from previous news items that Keanu will be promoting Man of Tai Chi at the Shanghai International Film Festival. The festival runs through June 23 so the window of opportunity is narrowing on that appearance and there has been no news yet with particulars.
Nina has tweeted that Keanu will be busy once he arrives in Beijing and will do the TV show in the afternoon. It is not clear if that means that he will be arriving in Beijing the morning of June 20. This TV show appearance was supposed to have taken place back in April but was cancelled due to a schedule conflict. Nina also said that Keanu will record another TV show on June 21 that Wanda has arranged for promotion of MOTC. Thanks Nina!
From the contest news on the MOTC weibo site, it looks like Keanu will spend the rest of the month with his one on one meetings with the lucky fan selected in each of the eight cities along with the screening for all 88 contest winners.
We will report any additional information as it emerges. Hopefully the Chinese press will provide news and coverage and the fans will continue to share on weibo and twitter.
Update: The June 20 show will be a live broadcast that you can watch. It now has it’s own post. Keanu will be recording another TV appearance on June 23. He will be doing a magazine interview on June 21.
