The New Yorker has an article by Tad Friend ‘The Mogul of the Middle’ in the January 11, 2016 issue. The article focuses on Adam Fogelson, the chairman of newly formed studio STX Entertainment. The article gives a good look at the film industry and how projects are evaluated.
One of the projects being pitched was Company Films’ Unmanned. The article says that two producers (Chris Morgan was mentioned and I am assuming Stephen Hamel was the other), the director (Tim Webber) and Keanu Reeves made the pitch which also included a sizze reel.
