Now Toronto has posted their interview with Alex Winter. Deep Web opens in Toronto tomorrow so interviews and press is appearing their. In addition to asking Alex about the film, he was also asked if he had trouble recruiting Keanu Reeves for the narration. He said the following:
We’re always involved in what the other is doing, and he loves this technology space. It was funny, because I called him and asked him, and I think he was offended that I hadn’t asked him sooner! I just hadn’t thought of it. He has this ability to infuse things with emotion but not editorialize, which was really important. (bolding mine)
