Felicia Schembari posted her view of The Bad Batch for Frightday and gave it 5/5 stars. There is a photo with the post. She said the following about the cast:
Every member of the eclectic cast delivers an incredible performance, and together the characters weave an engrossing universe that linger long after the final credits roll.
Update: In a report on the Overlook Film Festival for The Portland Mercury, Ben Coleman included a brief review of The Bad Batch. He said the following about the film:
But after a strong opening in which a beguiling ingenue Suki Waterhouse is partially dismembered by horrible cannibals, the film almost immediately devolves into a series of listless desert wanderings, punctuated by dream sequences, drug sequences, and druggy dream sequences that also center around wandering through deserts. It’s a fascinating aesthetic experience, and an extremely unrewarding narrative one.
